Radar
The radar shows your position related to objects (cameras) around you. You are the center of the radar, the top of the radar represents the area in front of you. The triangle outside the radar shows where north is. The smallest inner circle represents 100 meters. The outer ring can be 400, 600 or 900 meters, depending on the zoom level (use keys up and down to change the zoom level). If you position is fixed (you are in a tunnel, there is no gps fix, or you press the 'hold' button), the center of the radar will stay where you were at that point. If TrackerTag knows your current position, a little circle will indicate where you really are (see the third picture below). If you move outside the outer ring, the radar will zoom out automatically.
Colors of cameras
Below you can see the colors of the different kind of cameras. Since you can have six different color schemes, there are six pictures. The different kind of cameras are:
- mobile camera,
- fixed camera,
- 'ghost' camera.

Status indicators
The words around the radar show the following status:
| grey | green/blue | orange | red | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GSP | inactive | valid position | searching | error |
| MOVE | unknown | moving | starting/stopping | stopped |
| DATA | inactive | ok | receiving | internet error |
| FS | inactive | valid info | receiving | error |
| FOXY | inactive | valid info | updating | error |
| TRACK | inactive | valid position | sending | error |
Tracking
When tracking is turned on, every time TrackerTag tries to send its position it will add a green dot on the radar. This does not guarantee the position has arrived at the server.
The small ticks on the outer ring indicate the turn-trigger. If you turn enough to go outside these ticks a location message will be sent.
Keys
Apart from the cam-reporting keys (number keys, 'c', '*', '#') the 'up' and 'down' keys are special keys for the radar screen. They zoom out and in. The range that the outer ring represents is shown as text, for example: "RANGE 900 M" means the outer ring is 900 meters away.Prev: Settings
