GPS
TrackerTag uses the GPS device that is available thru the phone interface/settings. That means it does not know if you use the GPS through a bluetooth, usb, internal or other connection, it just depends just on your phone's settings. In my phone it is found under the phone's system settings, exactly under settings - phone - common - postition info.Usage
The usuage of TrackerTag works thru the buttons as shown on the keyboard / keypad:
- softkeys (they left and right option keys)
- cursor keys
- number keys 0 to 9
- '*', '#' and cancel ('c') keys
Most of these keys work the same way as they would under FoxyTag. You can find the guide for FoxyTag here: http://www.foxytag.com/rel/current/bt/UsersGuide.pdf.
Softkeys (Option keys)
The softkeys to are the ones directly under the display. The function of these changes accordingly to the screen, and the screen shows directly the function associated with that certain key at the time. Generally the left keys opens a menu to modify options, and the right key closes a dialogue, menu or the program.Cursor keys
The cursor keys consist of the four direction parts (Up, Down, Left, Right) and the middle "OK" button. Left/Right changes between the different screens. Up/Down might allow scrolling when shown on the screen. The middle button might open a context menu (it depends on the present screen), or confirms an action.Number keys
The number keys have the same function as when used with FoxyTag:- ' 1 ' is used to confirm a fixed, stationary speed control
- ' 2 ' is used to confirm a mobile speed control
- ' 0 ' is used to delete a speed control (fixed or mobile), or to that transmite to the server that on the spot shown no speed control has been seen anymore.
- ' 9 ' can you use to choose a another colour setting (day / night).
While passing a speed control that is visable / valid, a single button press reports that the speed control is in your main driving direction, while two button presses means that it is for the opposite direction, and a three times press reports a control valid for both directions. This works for both the '1' and the '2' keys. The '0' does not care about the direction.
Therefore, you do report with two presses of number key ' 2 ' a mobile speed control in opposite direction to you. Do not pass on of a flitser to the Foxyserver is possible if there is no speed, differently is the direction indefinite. ' 9 ' this key changes the colour setting.
*, # and 'C' keys
The key with the star ('*') holds / saves the current position. The key with the # symbol sets the alarm sound to on or off. The delete key (' c ') has the same function as they ' 0 ' with which you can remove a speed control / camera.Debug
The green (call) key open a menu with options used for testing.
